My stock of Germany is strong but there is always room for improvement. I had a collection of Germany 1872-1945 sitting on my shelf for ages and I finally got around to sorting the stamps. It had been put together by a Scandinavian collector with some duplication and attention to many of the varieties: watermark, colour etc. Only a few new stamps for my list but useful back-up.

The latest Australian new issues arrived. It is a set of four portraying Ramsar Wetlands. If my memory serves me right, Ramsar is a town in Iran where an international agreement was reached many years ago to protect wetlands and their wildlife. In addition to the four stamps, there are three with self-adhesive gum. The 20c stamp does not exist self-adhesive.

I acquired a small batch of Swiss back of the book stamps and found time to work on them. Most were from the International Bureaux, especially that for Education. Some postage dues and frank stamps were also there.
